Much easier to use the computer and it is much faster to get around. After so many months of trying to use this small computer without one, I gave up and I am very thankful I did. I don't know how I lasted so long without this mouse. At first, I didn't think I needed nor did I want to spend money on a mouse.
The translucent sections of the case do create a pink glow effect when the optics are on which is kind of cool, but the bottom line is you can get a mouse that's just as good for less. I purchased this along with a white Eee PC as a gift because I wanted the 'matching set.' It works as well as any other miniature optical mouse I've used, and it'd be a perfectly acceptable mouse at $15. Overall, it feels cheaply made, and there's really not much about the design that makes it match the Eee besides the color.

Since Blue Tooth is not included in the early Eees, a corded usb mouse is much easier to set up.
